Ok. So I know my last post was kinda heavy and is a lot to take in. Now I just want to ease up a bit and talk about a conversation I had at work the other day. However, if anyone here wants to forge ahead on the next subject I will give you a teaser… It’s known as the NASA War document, and basically it’s like Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars, but fast forward 30 years.
So I recently had a conversation with a coworker who mentioned that a mutual friend and coworker was into conspiracy theories and that sometimes he feels uncomfortable talking about these subjects. As he said… They don’t effect me, and he would rather not know. Fair enough I suppose, however, a comment such as that requires a closer look. First back to the story. After he mentioned this I thought to myself… He obviously doesn’t know I write this blog and doesn’t realize how into conspiracies I am. BTW have you ever stopped to think about how the word conspiracy is rarely ever used without having the word theory after it? For those who have really been following along, I mentioned way back in the beginning with Where to Begin? how the CIA developed the term conspiracy theory, and boy did it catch on. So much so that the two words are no like an old married couple and you simply can’t have one without the other.
Simply not true
Ok. So now back to the original point I was trying to make before the tangents. I know I preach talking about what is really going on in the world, but I well know that there is a time and place for everything.
Then wasn’t the time.
So back to the root of this post. I want to talk about our conversation and how he mentioned that he does not want to know about things that do not effect him. Ironically he mentioned not wanting to know about conspiracies that do not effect him right after we just talked about how we were lucky to still have jobs during this current economic downturn to put it politely, and to be politically correct. For now.
I find conversations with people like this of the utmost importance in understanding how people think, and to understand what we are up against. This fellow and I get along great in many respects, but we appear to be polar opposites when it comes to our view on how the world really works.
So why should one bother with things that do not effect me, people say?
Well right away having our incomes slashed via taxes, economic downturns, inflation, epic housing costs, insane debt, straight up wage reduction, and market manipulation does effect all of us. Directly.
Think about it.
These conspiracies that many people research and try to understand do affect us all and will have and are having profound effects on our lives even as I type, and as you read. Now, I do understand why people would knowingly, or do knowingly block it all out and pretend that everything is fine and why they don’t care to see where this is really going. Most people when witness to an injustice will try to do what they can to stop or prevent it from happening or from happening further. However, there is a flip side. If one does not look or not see the injustice then they bear no responsibility for any future outcome.
I didn’t start writing this blog because I wanted to, I started writing this blog because I feel that it is the right thing to do. I know that the truth is scary. I know all the messed up stuff going on in this world is scary. I see the raw greed, how the quest for power and control by the few over entire populations is playing out. I see and have seen this for some time, and there is no way I could live with myself if I simply choose to look the other way.
I know I am not going to change the world by writing this blog, but I also know that at the end of the day I played my part in trying to make this world a better place.
Ignorance is bliss, but it’s still ignorant.
It’s time we all took a little more time to understand the power structure in the world we all live. Understand that it is going to bring about uncomfortable feelings, but understanding is crucial going forward. For we have been played for long enough and sadly…
Many many many of us have been distracted with matters of no real importance for far too long.
